Who would've thought the desert could be so stunning? Certainly not us! So imagine our surprise when we stumbled upon the painted desert in Arizona. Our adventure in Flagstaff also took us to other gems like Sedona and Prescott. Today, we're dishing out the details on our stay at Club Wyndham Flagstaff and the jaw-dropping sights to see nearby. Buckle up for some desert delight!

Club Wyndham Flagstaff exudes a rustic charm that perfectly complements the surrounding area. This expansive 2,200-acre retreat offers stunning views of the landscape and features the Continental Country Club, an 18-hole championship golf course that's just begging for a hole-in-one. Plus, there's a 12-acre driving range and a par 3 chip and putt course for those who like to swing it like they mean it. Not into golf? No problem! Dive into the two outdoor swimming pools, shoot some hoops on the basketball courts, challenge your pals at the billiards tables, or channel your inner tennis pro on one of the eight courts. Who knew staying onsite could be this action-packed and fun-filled?

The instant we walked into our two-bedroom condo, we were absolutely smitten with the open concept, spacious entryway, towering ceilings, inviting fireplace, and super comfy furniture! This spectacular retreat filled our lungs with refreshing mountain air, making us feel like we were nestled in a cozy cabin in the woods. The master bathroom was a dream come true with its whirlpool tub, perfect for rejuvenating our stiff and achy bodies after the long drive from Los Angeles!

Nearby there are tons of exhilarating outdoor adventures to enjoy! From hiking and rafting to mountain biking and sightseeing, there's so much to explore that one week didn't feel like enough. We were only 85 miles away from the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon. But on this trip, we opted for the breathtaking beauty of Antelope Canyon, the iconic Horseshoe Bend, the impressive Glen Canyon Dam, and the enchanting town of Sedona.

We visited in April, and the chill in the air was invigorating, with snow blanketing the ground and mountains! Imagine if we had arrived just a few months earlier—it would have been a true winter wonderland! You could ski and snowboard down the beautifully groomed runs of the San Francisco Peaks at the Arizona Snowbowl.

Arizona's landscape is so diverse, it felt like we took a whirlwind tour through several states without ever leaving one! We've already got plans to return and tackle everything we missed this time around. Without a doubt, we will be heading back to our new home away from home, Club Wyndham Flagstaff. This trip was unforgettable, and we eagerly anticipate staying there again!
